Saltash Environmental Themed Video Competition

As part of the Making Saltash Greener Saltash-in-Transition Festival for September 2010 we are inviting entries for a Video Short Competition.

We are looking for short films or animations linking environmental concerns and transition solutions with a Saltash twist.

Trophies will be awarded for the best entry in at least four categories:

• The Jury Award - chosen by our panel of experts in media, communication and environment
• The Audience Award - voted by the audience at the screenings on 20th September
• New Visions Award - for individual or group with an average age under 18
• Wise Owls Award - for an individual or group with an average age over 65

Entry is open to all, professional entries are welcome Hors Concours. Entries should be less than 5 minutes running time.

The closing date for entries is 1st September 2010, and if you are considering entering you are asked to let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan the events.

The Jury will be announced during the summer (watch this space). All entries will be made available to view online through this website from 6th September and if there are too many entries for the screening evening there will be an online poll to select the favourtites to go forward for the audience award.

The Award Ceremony will take place on Monday 21st September (venue to be confirmed). Additional awards and prizes may be offered if there are sufficient entries to make a category.
