Making Saltash Greener is the name of a two week festival which will take place in Saltash in East Cornwall from 11th until 26th September 2010.
Saltash is one of a group of Cornish Transition Towns where local environmental groups have got together to look at ways the community will prepare for Peak Oil through a number of ways including looking at low impact living and other green living intiatives.Other West Country towns that have joined the Transition movement include Totnes in Devon and Falmouth in Cornwall.

Local artists have felt inspired to join in with the Transition Fortnight by running art workshops and designing posters, cards and flags to adorn the town.The artist's group has its own website thebigsaltashpictureshow.com
